I just wanted to share with you weather news from Iceland so that you can see that there isn't always snow and ice over there. Yesterday the temperature went up to 20°C on the East coast, just wanted to share this with you.

I wanted to share with you a little article I found on www.visir.is (Icelandic newspaper). It talks about that the Justice minister of Sweden wants to put in place law that allow schools to be able to send kids under the age of 15 to drugs test without having to get approval of their parents. With this the Justice minister hopes to reduce violence and drug abuse in schools.

Scientists in the UK want new drug ranking. They have drawn up an alternative system which they argue more accurately reflects the harm that drugs do. This new ranking system places alcohol and tobacco in the upper half of the table ahead of cannabis, LSD and ecstasy.

I'm not sure that I agree on this ranking system but more people probably die because of alcohol use than use of cannabis.

This is a little story I saw on www.unison.ie yesterday. This article tells about Air Lingus passengers that had to wait for over 12 hours to get to Dublin from Rome because a lightning struck the plain. This wouldn't have been such a big deal if another plain from Air Lingus due to take off later that day wouldn't have been struck by lightning as well.

It makes you wonder if the one in charge of the lightning's is Italian rugby fan
